Beatnik Newsletter Spring 2010Welcome Beatnik friends and fans to our spring newsletter! First things first – we have moved!Come and see us at our new home at 120 New North Road. We love our retro 50’s renovated church and it’s interestingly colourful past - very Beatnik. We’re sharing the building with a couple of wonderfully artful individuals and, if you do come to visit, drive around to the rear of the building where you’ll find ample parking and just knock on the back door. We’d love to see you. The Latest – Ripe Recipes![]() We have a brilliant idea for any of you now looking for the ultimate chrissie pressie. Our next book, Ripe Recipes by Angie Redfern, is a fantastic vibrant presentation of seasonal cooking. The team at Ripe Deli, the ever popular café/delicatessen based in Richmond Road, Grey Lynn have put together a collection of their most popular recipes. You can view a selection of the photography from the book on our website. We’re all chomping (pardon the pun) at the bit to get our hands on this one. The book is due to be released early December and will be available at bookstores throughout New Zealand or order from our online shop to secure your copy of this fabulously unique publication. If you would like to pre-order a copy email Shelly. Who You Are is What You Do – by Heather McAllister![]() We are thrilled with the response to Heather’s excellent book which was launched in July. Thank you all for your feedback which has been extremely positive. Some of you may have caught Heather on TVNZ’s Breakfast with Paul Henry and Pippa Wetzell. We are so proud of Heather, she really knows her stuff! Find out if you’re in the right job or where you might be able to start looking by grabbing a copy of Who You Are Is What You do – available from our online store.
